Amanda Tattam
Mosaic and mixed media artist
I make mosaics with found objects, broken crockery, tiles, plastic, glass and natural stone to make functional and decorative pieces. I love to share my passion for mosaic making through workshops in my studio in Macleod and have worked with both adults and children. I have been influenced and taught by various mosaic artists, in Australia and Italy. I’m a colourist, but also like muted tones.
I love to work with people to make something new from something old or obsolete, and in doing so, to create a unique piece that holds a pattern and carries beauty and meaning for its owner.
