Veteran Bellydancer/Percussionist Azura has performed over 8000 solo shows, choreographed countless student & professional performances, & is soon to celebrate 30 years in the business. She is also an awarded Visual Artist who's works have been collected & are on public display. She is a professional Face Painter & member of the renowned team at the Melbourne Zoo.

Azura's long list of credentials includes TV features, red-carpet events, & cameo appearances alongside international acts. She has trained with Bellydance royalty including Turkish & Egyptian stars Tanyeli, Soheir Zaki, Aida Nour & Dina.

Azura's multicultural arts incursion Jungle Shimmy has toured extensively with Regional Arts Victoria & is currently endorsed by Cultural Infusion. Her classes & performances are dynamically inclusive, empowering individuals of every age & ability to participate & enjoy their own creative expression.

Azura has a qualification in Aged Care & specializes in Entertaining Active Life Programs for the elderly. Seniors love singing-along & expressing themselves through movement. Azura's programs are an all-in celebration of art, culture, & life.

Azura teaches & performs in Melbourne. She is currently in the process of creating new characters & costumes for festival performances, & writing/illustrating her first children's book.
