Multidisciplinary artist Tannia Taranto began her career in television commercial production before exploring portraiture and figurative art of the female form. Experimenting with alternative mediums, Tannia developed the EVOLUTION series of plaster bas-relief wall art. This series examines organic elements of the environment, expressing tree rings and root systems, and the spinal node structure of sea urchins in the form of sculpted, heavily texturised contemporary pieces. The series also extends to totems and three-dimensional ceramic sculptures.
Specialising in several mediums and disciplines, Tannia Taranto has sold her works across Australia and around the world, exhibited in solo and group exhibitions across Melbourne, entered the 2023 Archibald Prize, and has creative collaborations with CATA (Creative Art Therapy Australia).
Tannia is also the Founder of ZINCTT Studios. With its industrial charm and exposed foundations, ZINCTT Studios serves as a canvas for creativity and collaboration, providing an inspiring backdrop that seamlessly blends edge with sophistication. A place where artistic expression sets the stage for immersive exhibitions and dynamic event experiences.
