I am an available light photographer, using the light that is around me day or night to capture beautiful landscapes and cityscapes. My photographs are available as limited editions and owned by private collections around the world.
When I am not at home in Melbourne, I enjoy time travelling the world, working on my latest photography projects and hunting down old neglected cameras to add to my growing collection.
Having learned photography by hand, developing negatives and prints in a darkroom, I now work with digital or film depending on how I am feeling on the day. My current go-to equipment is an Olympus OMD-EM1 kit, an Olympus OM-1, a Kodak folding brownie from 1926 and a Russian Lubitel TLR from 1948 – found in a dusty antique store in Estonia. Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom are the two programs most commonly open on my computer.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art Photography and Graphic Arts (2004) and a Master of Arts (2010).
