Helen is an exhibiting & commissioned mixed media visual artist based in Greensborough. She runs classes & workshops working with women and children and has created community-based art projects encouraging participation and engagement. Helen is a passionate advocate for sharing her knowledge in the local community, experiencing first-hand the ability art has to bring people together with encouragement and support. She has been an artist in resident in several primary schools, regularly worked with local council on Arts events such as ‘Banyule Kids Arty Farty Fest ‘and has obtained community grants to facilitate programs like ‘Creative Time Out’ – an art program for mothers of Autistic children.
Helen’s projects have been commissioned by schools and local governments.
She has been an active member of 'Thou Art Mum' a not for profit female visual artist network since 2012 and has held the Sub Committee Leadership positions within the group for 2014/15/17.
