Jessie Brooks-Dowsett
Artist and Therapeutic Arts Practitioner
I’m an artist and a therapeutic arts practitioner. I work with a range of people to engage, explore and express their experience in creative ways, using a range of expressive arts modalities. My focus is on finding ways to share the arts and arts making to develop our connection to ourselves and each other, with an eye on strengthening communities and our sense of belonging.

In my private art practice, I work in a mix of acrylic, inks and pastels, using experimental methods to create marks that speak to my instinctual bodily responses, in reaction or recollection to my daily experiencing.
