Amanda Tattam
Mosaic and mixed media artist
Amanda uses found objects, pre loved ceramics, tiles, plastic, glass and natural stone to make 2D and 3D works. She loves to share her passion for mosaics through workshops in her studio in Macleod. Community based projects have been the focus of her practice since 2019.
She loves to work with adults and children to make something new from something old or obsolete, and in doing so, to create a unique piece that honours the durability and stories attached to the materials.
Amanda has been influenced and taught by various artists in Australia and Italy and in 2022 has begun a Certificate 4 in visual arts at Melbourne Polytechnic.
