Open your eyes to new ways of experiencing, planning and working with people with disability. Drawing on the arts we creatively explore disability awareness and inclusion in a way that compellingly connects.

A FREE full-day creative and challenging disability awareness training that ‘lifts the lid’ on disability inclusion in a way that is contemporary, bold and practical. Drawing on the arts, our program explores disability awareness in a provocative way that connects powerfully with participants.

Be prepared to think about disability and access in new and different ways and leave confident about the change you can make at your workplace and in your programs, and knowledgeable about the resources available to you. The program includes:

- Defining disability and understanding its social context

- Understanding barriers to participation and how inclusion can ‘open doors’ for all

- Know your legal obligations and understand what this means for you

- The case for inclusion

- Attitudes and interacting with confidence

- Universal Access and access services

- Equipped for action (practical strategies, tools and resources)

Led by professionals with disability our facilitators are leaders in their field and experts in disability inclusion.  Their lived experience of disability adds enormous richness to discussion, delivering training that is unique – because of its diversity.
