From August until November, the Yarra Flats’ section of the Heidelberg Artists’ Trail will feature a series of five newly commissioned paintings inviting people to reflect on the history and myths associated with the Heidelberg School artists of the 1890s.
The exhibition, A Tall Painter, by Melbourne-based artist Liang Luscombe, has been supported by a Banyule Council Arts Grant and the Australia Council for the Arts.
Join us for the exhibition launch on Saturday 6 August between 2 pm - 5 pm, at the information shelter at the start of the trail in Yarra Flats, East Ivanhoe (near the car park off The Boulevard). There will be a number of guided tours during the opening with everyone welcome.
Two free shuttle buses to the exhibition site will leave from the CBD. Book a spot on the bus tour here.
WHEN: Saturday 06 August, 2 pm - 5 pm. Exhibition runs until 04 November 2016.
