Twilight Sounds is Banyule’s flagship live music event, set in the relaxing natural environment of Sills Bend on the banks of the Yarra River.
In 2015, Twilight Sounds will celebrate International Women’s Day by showcasing and celebrating female performers and artists with a funk & soul music style line-up.
Headlining the event will be Sydney-based soul singer Ms Murphy. Honing her musical skills in church before blowing away the Australian public on The Voice in 2013, Ms Murphy – stage name of Karen Andrews – has quickly become the defining voice of soul music in Australia.
Also performing is Emma Donovan - passionate singer, songwriter and collaborative vocal artist fusing roots, reggae and soul, Sweethearts - a 25 piece all-girl soul band from Geelong, and Anna Go-Go who will get you up and dancing!
Pack a picnic (don’t forget your rug or chair) or grab some delicious food and drinks from the food court at this FREE open air concert.
