Helen Macqueen
Quilter & Mixed media textile artist
Helen has twenty five years experience working with textiles, with a focus in designing mixed media textile pieces and traditional and art quilts, using a variety of media and techniques.

Three major themes are represented in Helen's art: family, memory and landscape. Using a combination of family and personal photographs, stories and memories (both individual and collective) for inspiration, Helen utilises found objects, textiles, stitch, collage, painting, printing and photographic processes to represent a connection between family, memory and the environment.
