I am a Banyule resident working as an illustrator/artist from my home studio in Ivanhoe.

I have a deep interest and passion in illustrating flora and fauna and use a variety of mediums including pencil, ink, watercolour paint & digital. In 2020 I began drawing with chalk paint on windows as part of Banyule initiative to reactivate local strips entitled “From My Window”. These temporary pieces feature hand drawn art in white chalk paint and encourage the community to engage with the building, the business and the people who are within. Since then I have continued to create art work on windows with local business under the banner of “Bespoke Window Art”.

Last year I was also commissioned by Banyule to illustrate a “Banyule Flats Treasure Map”. Also, I have created a series of online watercolour art videos of local birdlife to encourage people in Banyule to explore green spaces and go bird watching. I provided the narration for these timelapse art episodes. These videos were released as part of the 2020 Spring Program.

When I am not creating art I work as a public speaking coach for young people and also direct holiday theatre programs for pre-schoolers.

I am currently enjoying working with Banyule council to create a series of walking circuit maps for local residents to explore the outdoors. I also recently won an arts grant through Banyule to create a web series in the style of a travel show to get locals out exploring green spaces in their own neighbourhoods. This web series will be released in November 2021.
