I am a writer of poetry and non-fiction . I am described as a poet of the quotidian. I have published one chapbook of poems called Backyard Lemon. Other poems are anthologised in Australian journals and anthologies. I am the Treasurer of Melbourne Poets Union melbournepoetsunion.wordpress.com and co-convenor of Poets @ watsonia a branch of MPU. I write interviews and articles for POAM our newsletter. I am involved in selection and production of chapbooks for MPU. I regularly read my poetry at venues throughout the city of Melbourne. In 2016 I have been the featured poet at Christmas Hills and The Court House , Eltham. I am retired from paid work which involved teaching and nursing. For a number of years I was Deputy Principal in the School of nursing at Austin hospital
