Writer & Illustrator, Textile Artist, Textile Designer, Visual Artist
I'm a multi-disciplinary artist, and work in a variety of mediums including watercolours, gouache, collage and pen and ink. I also create textile art, and was the recipient of the Pinpoint Art in Public Spaces Arts Grant in 2017. In 2018 I was commissioned by Banyule Council tom complete the 'Cloak of Inclusion' as a community arts experience at Malahnag festival. I collaborated with Banyule Council and TACAS as the Artistic Coordinator of Strand by Me, creating a wallhanging with written community contributions for IDAHOBIT Day 2019. I've illustrated for Mixkit- a division of Envato, and run illustration classes at my studio. I'm familiar with the Adobe suite and also do freelance desktop publishing, graphic design and textile design. I'm available for proofreading, copywriting and creative writing. I'm currently writing and illustrating a novel for 10-14 year olds and am also illustrating a picture about local birds within the Banyule area. I work with the philosophy of sustainable art as agency, and encourage this through my creative practice and art facilitating.
