    2015 Banyule Award for Works on Paper : EXHIBITION, FREE

    The Banyule Award for Works on Paper opens this month at Hatch.
    Works on Paper is a $4000 acquisitive prize award biennially to an outstanding contemporary work on paper. 

    The winner will be announced at the opening event on Tuesday 13 October, featuring guest speakers and performance by sound artist Vincent Giles.

    A range of satellite events including poetry workshops, children's activities and curators talks will accompany the exhibition. Vist the Hatch website for more information.

    THE ART OF STORYTELLING WORKSHOP

    Storyteller Julie Perrin will lead a small, participatory workshop that encourages people to identify, craft and tell stories from their lives. Julie will inspire and encourage you to develop your story making skills in a positive listening environment.

    Julie was the 2011 winner of the Pat Glover Memorial Storytelling Award at the Port Fairy Folk Festival and has taught at University of Melbourne, in TAFE colleges, and in numerous adult-learning contexts.
